In addition to providing a professional will drafting service, we advise on the following areas in our wills and probate department - administration of estates, tax issues, the use of trusts, wards of court and enduring powers of attorney. We also offer a wills review service which allows you to update your will as you see fit and in accordance with any changes in the law.
The importance of making a Will cannot be underestimated. If you fail to make a Will, Intestacy Rules will apply which means that your assets may be distributed in a manner which is very different to that which you would have desired.
Making a Will enables you to clearly set out the beneficiaries of your Will and allows you to make provisions for charitable donations and funeral arrangements. In addition it enables you to choose the Executors of your Will i.e. those who will be responsible for administering your Estate.
We at Lalloo & Co offer a confidential and personal service in respect of Wills. We will advise you as to the various clauses which can be inserted in a Will, to create Trusts or to give additional powers to the Executor of your Will.
We also provide a service to those who have been named Executors in another person's Will in assisting them to extract a Grant of Probate, or where there is no Will, to take out Letters of Administration.
